X-WR-CALDESC:This year’s Hospice Cup regatta takes place on Saturday\, Sept
 ember 13\, 2025. There are three racing circles offered for participating 
 skippers and crew - a windward leeward course\, a distance course\, and a 
 cruising fleet course. Prizes are awarded to boats that place in their res
 pective fleets as well as for skippers who deliver superior team fundraisi
 ng performance. The best overall performing skipper in the 3 most recent H
 ospice Cup events will receive an invitation to compete in the 2025 Hospic
 e Regattas National Championship. Hospice Cup is organized by the Sailing 
 Club of the Chesapeake and sanctioned by CBYRA\, with participating boats 
 eligible for high point credit.\n\nThe shore party and awards take place a
 fter the race at Horn Point Marina.
