Talbot Hospice is dedicated to guiding patients and caregivers through life’s last journey. We offer compassionate support, education and comfort to those facing a life-limiting illness, end-of-life issues or grief.
Through the generous support of our community and more than 341 extraordinary volunteers it is possible for our programs to be offered without charge. We serve those seeking curative, life-extending or palliative treatment wherever they may be located; at home, in an assisted living facility or at Hospice House on Cynwood Drive in Easton.
In 2010, a room and board charge was implemented in the Guest Wing. Based on one’s ability to pay, residents staying in the Hospice House Guest Wing are asked to contribute up to 50% of the actual cost for room and board. No one is ever turned away due to financial constraints as each situation is unique and individually evaluated.
Along with Shore Home Care Hospice, our medical partner, we offer physical, emotional and spiritual care, as well as practical help, that together form the essence of a holistic hospice philosophy.
All other services, excluding the room and board fee in the Guest Wing, are provided without charge.
